I cannot truly thank you enough you for allowing God to use you on Friday night at your book signing and Dance Symposium. For me It was yet another time to be in the presence of greatness. I have not personally met you but as a student of DDI, I was introduce to the text book My Body is the Temple, which I found extremely filling and tremendously motivating. For some of us who have been in the liturgical arena for more than 10years, Yes, we have been waiting for the writers to come forth, I for one knew that I had to have more reading material on dance in my library than what the secular world had to offer me, reading materials that would be accurately word based and spiritually sound, reading material that will help propel me to the level of excellence in Dance Ministry. Yes; I am one of them that was waiting for your writing to come forth, Thanks be to God!!! On Friday December 1st while we were in the lobby of Sanctuary Church as you were briefing us and preparing us for Praise and worship, I remembered your distinct words, as you said to all of us, “you all don’t know what your are getting into by being here tonight,” as you spoke, I immediately received the translation of your words from the Holy Spirit, as he informed me that God was going to show up and we needed to be prepared to be used. At that point I was waiting for your next instruction, then you looked at me and said you in the blue, I immediately looked to my left to see who you were talking to, you then repeated yourself, yes you in the blue I need you to head the right isle, at that point the Holy Spirit words were confirmed, as I realized that you were putting me on assignment. I wanted to personally thank you for keeping your eyes open. The word of God says let all who have eyes to see, see and all who have ears to hear, hear. I also thank God for his Spirit living on the inside of you, for his word says we will know each other by the Spirit. Thank you for pulling me out from behind the curtains. May God continue to fill you with supernatural strength. May He grant you longggggggggg life. May your eyes remain open to see the fulfillment of every vision he has given you. Love always, Vilma Simon Bond I just had to email you to tell you how much of an impact your book is already having on me. I have only read the first few chapters, but I jumped ahead toward the end to learn more about "Prophecy and the Sacred Arts Minister" (my calling) and I was truly Enlightened and blessed. Since I started reading your book, I've been telling everyone to go out and get it. I brought it to our recent Network meeting and gave everyone the information to order on line. In fact, I would like to order about 7 copies for our ministry so we can all receive the same teaching and instruction and operate in one Spirit. This book has really had me searching within myself and taking an inventory, and the Lord has revealed some areas that I need to take a closer look at where I'm not operating according to His will. Juanita Atlanta, Georgia, USA Thank you so much for sending me the e-mail about Min. Butler's book and being on 1340am. That was an awesome testimony and sermon / message that she preached & taught and talked while on the air. You could feel her sweet spirit coming out over the air. She is truly anointed of God and He knew that He could trust her with the life changing message that she so clearly, honestly and loving gives to the people. The interview was WONDERFUL!!! I praise God for her life because Min. Butler is a source of encouragement. It was a true blessing. I thank God for opening that door for her -- certainly her gift(s) and anointing made room for her. Thanks again, Cyndie Maryland, USA This note is about your book.It is a delight! Thanks for showing it to me! And for writing it for me and others. Oh it is so well written! And the citations "revelations" are so well pinpointed that I don’t know which ones I should"proclaim" my favorite. But two stand out:"your visitation will arrive when you least expect it, but when God most needs it..."(pag.28),and "keep doing what is natural until you run into the supernatural..."(pa.154). One is the story of my life, when I don’t know what else to do..."there it is!....His hand...in the last lost minute", to save the last minute of a sure "disaster"...the other one helps me keep some kind of mental sanity and equilibrium in life, when I remember that everything was made for me by "Him", from A to Z...joy and death included! It is a shorter way of saying the same thing Paul was saying to the Corinthians...."omnia vestra sunt, sive vita...sive mors!...And there are some stories in your book that are "spiritually"hillarious. I told a friend of mine the story Of David, afraid of the Ark in his house...and of his dancing after Obededom, the African from Gath had kept it for three months in his house... Stephanie, I should not exaggerate to say again that this booklet is beautifully written. In my mind, I do not hesitate to say that sometime, somewhere, where your book is going to be received and read, someone will undertake to TRANSLATE it in one or other languages, to make it accessible to other readers of other languages, spiritually trained and inclined. Congratulations! Mr. Tome Joa Mozambique-South Africa I attend Word Alive Worship Center in Baltimore, MD. I am part of the Dance Ministry there. I told your sister to tell you how much of a blessing your book has been …. I have been telling the other dancers and Evan. Adrienne agrees with me. It is REALLY GOOD. I haven't gotten through it all yet because I find myself re-reading chapters to make sure I got it all. There is so much revelation in those pages. I am coming to understand my full purpose and potential. Thank you for writing it. Traci Baltimore,Maryland, USA A MUST READ FOR TRUE WORSHIPPER; LEADERSHIP AND LAITY ALIKE I am very excited about this text because it is not written just for the dancer or the sacred artist, but for anyone who desires an encounter with God in their temple. It contains the clearest, easiest-to-understand material regarding the purpose and power of movement ministry. Leadership and laity alike will experience and comprehend how the WORD can become flesh and delivered to the Body of Christ in a movement message. They will learn how, through the body (our temple), God allows the Word, to shatter the windows of darkness, pierce the principalities, and bring deliverance to souls in our nation and the world. I would highly recommend this text to everyone because of it's sound biblical teaching on the call of dance as ministry, and the rightful place of the Arts in the Body of Christ. Enjoy! Minister Amanda F. Standard Bowie, Maryland USA WOW! Rev. Stephanie, I just finished reading your book "My Body is the Temple" and I am completely and thoroughly blessed! Even before I completed it, I was recommending it at a workshop that I facilitated. Your revelations are awesome. You have truly allowed GOD to use you as HIS voice to the people. I felt like a hungry child as I first read it and I just devoured each page. Now, I get to go back and savor the sweet taste of revelations and prophecy that you have ministered to me. Thank you for the message and for the fresh Kingdom Word. Sister Gail Glover Faust 4Trinity Evangelistic Dance Ministry To the Chosen of God for ministering the awesome dances straight from the heart of God! Reverend Stephanie Butler, Please know that i am totally transformed by the renewing of my mind because of the pure and holy Word of God that has been so directed toward everything that God has been leading me toward in the area of Sacred Dance. I, because of ignorance did not understand what Liturgical Dance really was, no one could tell me and i would even correct people, but i know now, because of your book that i am a Sacred Dance minister of Liturgical Dance to the ultimate glory of God! I am enthralled by your book and i go over and over it to 'chew' on the revelational teachings you give. It is so unique in which you involve the reader to participate in and speak along with what God is writing to us. I have learned so much! I attended Word Alive worship conference in August 2003 for the first time, it was so powerful, and allowed me to move line upon line, and like your book taught me even more how to examine myself more, for preparation to go to the level God was bringing me in the ministry of dance. You showed me that yes there is more than just dance, and that there is a reason why my heart goes out to asian people. God Bless you. I hope to make it to Jamaica. But if not i will always be praying and standing in agreement for your ministry. I am teaching a young Sacred dance and Arts ministry, something that eyes had not seen.....to the glory of God!!!Bless you Rev Stephanie. Lisa Henderson Harrisonburg, Va Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Hello, my name is Deaconess Mornique Spencer and the I am the director of Shekinah Liturgical Dance Ministry of Set The Captives Free Outreach Center (Pastor Karen Bethea). I am writing to say thank you for your book, "My Body is The Temple". This book has been an inspiration and tool used in the dance ministry. Your book has helped me in many ways. I was able to identify my self in the Five Fold Ministry. Your book enlightened me and my dancers. They now have a clear understanding as to why we dance for the Lord. Your book is a requirement now within the dance ministry. Your dance taught me about the spiritual warfare that I would go through as a director and what I need to do about it. From reading your book, we understand the power behind the Sacred Dancer over the enemy. This book gave me the foundation to stand on and the strong directions to follow concerning the dance ministry. Every one of the dancers have been filled by reading your book. I thank God for you and the Word inside of you. May God continue to bless you and keep you by his grace and power.
